In November, the Division of Medical Assistance Programs (DMAP) posted a provider announcement about Jan. 1 copayment requirements. This letter explained that starting Jan. 1, 2011, copayment requirements will expand to include managed care services. The letter also explained that each plan and their providers may choose to not collect copayments.
As your OHP medical plan, we want to let you know that we will not require our providers to collect copayments for Central Oregon Individual Health Solutions (COIHS) members.
